Fabulously Full February

Following an eventful first month of the year—including a fantastic trip to Rancho Cucamonga with the Laramie Project and the LA Stage Alliance Ovation Awards with the cast of Dogfight—February is shaping up to be JAM-packed (pun intended). Quite a month of gigs, recordings, and writing coming up! The John Burroughs High School show choir season kicks into full gear with a show at Disney’s California Adventure, followed by a preview concert at the school, and the first two competitions of the season.

I’ll be playing guitar at one of my favorite rooms in LA, the Rockwell Table and Stage, on the 18th and 20th for Earhart: More Than a F---ing Musical. My buddy Manny Hagopian wrote this incredible show (his body of work includes musicals about Tonya Harding and Hollywood assistants), and I’m thrilled to take part in its second mounting.

On the 8th I’ll be playing at Ocean Prime Restaurant in Beverly Hills with singer Jared Grimble, and on the 21st I’ll be at the University of LaVerne with the Time Bandits. Love getting to play and hang with those dudes!

I’m also excited to be collaborating on a number of recording and writing projects with friends. More info to be announced on that front soon. Gotta love February! And things won’t be slowing down at all in March, with JBHS Pop Show 39, and a trip with the choirs to Orlando!
